Message Preparation Process

Saturation

Prayer is fundamental to the message preparation process — everything is SATURATION in prayer individually, during meetings, every Saturday morning in the chapel, and ongoing by a large team of faithful intercessors.

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. - Ephesians 6:18

Inspiration

Our pastor is always listening for what God is saying through conversations, personal study & prayer, solitude, etc. INSPIRATION often comes weeks, months, or even years before a message is actually presented.

They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” - Luke 24:32

Collaboration

Our pastor COLLABORATES regularly with a team of researchers, teachers, and gifted communicators for in-depth study and to obtain focus for message topics, themes, and illustrations.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. - 2 Timothy 2:15

Creation

Numerous CREATIVITY teams meet ongoing to look for ways to enhance upcoming messages through the use of communication tools & various art forms (graphics, video, drama, props, stage design, etc.).

The Lord has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft. - Exodus 35:30-32

Preparation

Our ministry philosophy is to be 100% PREPARED and 100% flexible. We work extremely hard to offer everything to God with excellence, yet always willing to change plans in the moment as the Holy Spirit leads.

The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. - Proverbs 21:5

Implementation

Plans are IMPLEMENTED by several teams of passionate and committed volunteers including technicians, musicians, assistants, artists, actors, builders, designers, greeters, ushers, photographers, intercessors, etc.

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace. - 1 Peter 4:10

Evaluation

EVALUATION is an ongoing, critical part of the process through every phase of development. All aspects of the services are evaluated multiple times a week by different teams.

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. - Proverbs 15:22
