Administration

Campus
Initiate at least one campus improvement initiative. Options:
  • South Campus (Visioneering improvements with parking)
  • Community Building
  • Atrium (Visioneering improvements)
  • Signage (directional and inspirational)
  • Walking Trail
  • Kids Playground (community use?)
  • Retreat/Guest Cabin
  • Family Gathering spaces (outdoor seating, shaded areas, etc.)
  • Portico Enclosures (group space, prayer, guidance counselors, safety HQ)
  • Security Upgrades
  • Additional Venue (Thomasville?)

Financials
  • Sharpen our strategy for sharing vision and appreciation to givers at every level

Admin
  • Finalize manuals for Staff, Leadership Team, PAC, EST, and Pastors

Communications

  • To best employ available resources to give people simple and clear ways to connect
  • Give careful attention to the offering/promo segment in Sunday AM services (share stories of life change, share benefits and vision for giving at every level, inform everyone of how their giving is making a difference in ministry and missions)
  • Work on some communication schedules/plans for the things leadership designates are to be communicated consistently.

Discover Heritage

  • Move to a more personal approach (in-person teaching instead of videos)
  • Personalize next steps through personal contact

Missions

  • Regularly provide awareness of what’s going in on local, national, and global missions and how people can be involved.
  • Be a resource for quarters as they seek mission involvement

Next Gen

  • By the end of 2024, we will have established a mission trip opportunity for families/students.
  • By the end of 2024, we will have established and begun to implement a clear system for family follow up/check in when children miss three weeks in a row.
  • (Overlapping with 2nd Quarter): By the end of 2024, we will have taken significant steps towards parent equipping through a parenting conference
  • By the end of 2024, we will have clarified the health indicators of our kids discipleship path

Prayer

  • Recruit more members for prayer ministry teams and offer training.
  • Offer consistently more prayer opportunities- prayer events and prayer small groups.

Quarters / Small Groups / Pastoral Care

  • Establish at least two leadership positions in each Quarter & provide training workshop for each
- A person/team to focus on small groups
- A person/team to focus on pastoral care
  • Dawn’s role would become equipping these teams and providing ongoing training and encouragement.
  • Small Group Coordinator’s role (Michelle?)

Sunday AM

  • Establish a 2024 preaching schedule
  • Raise up worship leaders that allows Mark more flexibility for preaching

Sunday Support

  • Identify leader(s) to oversee, recruit, and train all Sunday Support teams
